In distributing our products, we make use of a fully integrated distribution model. We have direct local presence in Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria, with future expansion planned for Liberia. Our brands are present in these countries as well as in Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger. We are present across all distribution channels: from wholesale, retail and HORECA to remote areas, as well as export.
Finatrade owns its own logistics infrastructure. We construct and manage our own warehousing and offices, and own, manage and maintain our own transportation fleet. This fully integrated distribution model reduces costs and enhances efficiency – benefits that accrue to the customer.
Rural communities in West Africa often only have access to a limited consumer product offering due to distribution and infrastructural challenges. At Finatrade we optimize resource use by delivering consumer products to rural areas using the same infrastructure that is used to collect the agri-commodities we procure from farmers in those areas. These consumer products are sold in farmer shops that we have established as part of our offering to the farmers we work with.
